Lady Grace has done pretty well the last few days to make progress to our southern port of Marathon Florida. We ran overnight after our stop in Cape May, then headed down to Norfolk. For the last few days we have been taking the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) with some beautiful scenery. We went through the Great Bridge Lock as our first lock travel. Chef Terry had a keen eye locating a pair of mated eagles along the way. We stopped at Coinjock, NC for a great night of local food and rest, then continued the next morning to Belhaven, NC for our stop last night. We witnessed an amazing sunset and had a little time to explore the community . Our welcome to Belhaven was very friendly and we enjoyed spending the evening. Today brings bright sunshine and a little bit warmer weather.
